Nestled in a fantastic location, the building certainly has great bones-though it could benefit from a bit more upkeep. Accommodations are basic, yet adequate, giving it a cozy, home-away-from-home vibe. The outdoor swimming pool was a refreshing retreat, and I enjoyed lounging on the sun terrace. A highlight was the availability of laundry services, which made it easy to pack light on my tropical adventure. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, letting me share my experiences seamlessly without searching for a hotspot! While I appreciated the included shuttle service that made getting around quite convenient, I felt that housekeeping could improve a tad. Nevertheless, 24-hour security provided peace of mind. Portal Colonial caters well to budget-conscious travelers without sacrificing a sense of comfort. For those considering a stay, the hotel's potential shines through-offering a reasonable trade-off between luxury and costs, making it a thoughtful choice for your getaway.
